An ambitious Danish coffee chain is continuing its pursuit of DMV domination. Joe and the Juice has been mounting a DC-area takeover, and Georgetown is the next neighborhood in its sights.

The juice-focused concept is setting up shop at 1420 Wisconsin Avenue NW. The U.S. Commission of Fine Arts voted “No objection to issuance of permit to install” Joe and the Juice signage at the storefront during its recent June meeting, a step in the right direction towards the concept’s opening.

While Joe and the Juice is making positive progress, an opening timeline is not presently available. The storefront’s windows are covered in the eatery’s signature bubblegum pink wrap, helping to stir excitement in locals eager to try the company’s fare.

While Joe and the Juice does, of course, focus intensely on offering a variety of the titular beverage, its menu is not limited to only juice. The cafe also offers a range of sandwiches, breakfast bowls, smoothies, and coffee drinks.
