A popular chain is getting ready to bring the fashion of the West Coast to Virginia shoppers. PacSun will be helping locals refresh their closets later this year when it opens its doors in the Springfield Town Center.

The shop will be moving into the 6500 Springfield Mall shopping mecca in a storefront located across from American Eagle. A precise opening date is not yet available, however the Springfield Town Center website states that PacSun will be customer-ready this autumn.

The mall’s website explains why PacSun is certain to be an asset that will draw in a bevy of customers, saying: “Inspiring the next generation of youth, PacSun delivers a collection of relevant brands and styles that integrate fashion, music, art, and sport. Shop men’s and women’s casual wear, swimwear, and activewear from leading brands like Adidas, Billabong, Brandy Melville, Champion, John Galt, Levi’s, Vans, and more.”

Founded in California in 1980, PacSun (short for Pacific Sunwear of California) has evolved into a powerful presence in retail, spreading to include over 300 stores across the country.
