Remedy Pilates & Barre is preparing to open a new studio at 215 N Gilbert Road in downtown Gilbert this August, marking the fourth Valley location for the locally owned fitness brand.

Founder Kelly Noto-Snailum announced the expansion on social media and told What Now Phoenix that the East Valley location has been years in the making as the company continues to grow its boutique approach to Pilates and fitness training.

Founded in 2008, Remedy Pilates & Barre offers Pilates, barre, TRX, injury recovery programs, private training, youth conditioning, and a Pilates Sports Center teacher training program.

The company currently operates studios in Scottsdale, Arcadia, and Central Phoenix and has certified more than 300 instructors throughout Arizona.

“We started with just four reformers and four chairs. As the industry evolved, we expanded our offerings, but we’ve always stayed committed to providing a more personalized experience,” Kelly shared.

Over the years, Remedy added barre, TRX, and group fitness classes while maintaining its emphasis on individualized instruction and comprehensive teacher education.

Kelly said Gilbert had been on her radar for more than two years as she searched for the right location.

“When I finally came across the Heritage Square location, I literally fell in love the second I walked in.”

The new studio will be located in a nearly century-old building in downtown Gilbert’s Heritage Square district, a setting Kelly felt aligned with the company’s personality and community-oriented values.

“It has tons of charm. It just feels exactly in line with who we are and the type of relationship that we like to have with the landlord and the community.”

At the new location, students can expect certified instructors with extensive training in anatomy and movement, along with small class sizes designed to provide individualized guidance.

Equipment-based Pilates classes are limited to six participants, while fitness classes typically accommodate 10 to 15 people, allowing instructors to tailor workouts to a wide range of experience levels.

Looking ahead, Kelly said her immediate focus remains on the Gilbert opening, though she isn’t ruling out future expansion.

Founding memberships, teacher training opportunities, and additional details about the Gilbert location are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. For the latest updates, follow Remedy Pilates & Barre on Instagram.
