Salomon Opens NYC Store to Strengthen Global Presence
Salomon is opening its new Flatiron store on July 8 at 141 Fifth Avenue. The store is part of the brand’s effort to expand its presence in key U.S. market.
The store will showcase both Salomon’s performance-focused and lifestyle products. It will be the company’s seventh North American location, strengthening its Manhattan presence.
Salomon is a French outdoor and sportswear brand specializing in footwear, apparel, and equipment. The company is known for trail running products, including the Speedcross and XA Pro 3D footwear lines. In recent years, the brand has expanded its presence in both outdoor and lifestyle footwear categories.
Opening Celebrations
Salomon will celebrate the opening of its newest Flatiron store with great fanfare. According to GlobeNewswire, activities begin with a soft opening on July 1. The celebration will feature a mobile pop-up called “Run Vault on Wheels,” where runners can win prizes redeemable at the store.
The brand will host a workout session with Olympic gold medalist Jessie Diggins on July 7, followed by a meet-and-greet for members. On July 9, fitness instructor Rebecca Kennedy will host a community event in partnership with Salomon. It will be followed by live fashion illustrations, refreshments, and product giveaways.
The grand opening of the Salomon store will be held on July 8 with community runs and private shopping experiences. It will feature a day-long celebration with a DJ, refreshments, and custom merchandise. The celebration will also feature giveaways, photo opportunities, and special activities for visitors.
The Flatiron location adds to Salomon’s growing retail footprint in North America.
