Dunkin’ is expanding its presence on Florida’s Treasure Coast .

PM Crosstown LLC recently filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to open a Dunkin’ at 10660 S.W. Crosstown Parkway in Port St. Lucie, bringing another destination for coffee, breakfast and baked goods to the community. An opening date has not been announced, and the Dunkin’ website lists the location as “coming soon”.

The new location will serve Dunkin’s full menu of hot and iced coffees, espresso drinks, Refreshers, doughnuts, breakfast sandwiches, wraps, bagels and other grab-and-go favorites. Designed to meet the needs of busy commuters and local residents, the restaurant is expected to offer drive-thru service and mobile ordering through the Dunkin’ app.

Founded in 1950 by William Rosenberg in Quincy, Massachusetts, Dunkin’ has evolved from a neighborhood donut shop into one of the world’s leading coffee and quick-service restaurant brands. Today, the company operates more than 14,000 locations in nearly 40 countries. Dunkin’ is part of Inspire Brands, whose restaurant portfolio also includes Arby’s, Baskin-Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Jimmy John’s and Sonic Drive-In.

Dunkin’ has become viral in recent years, changing its branding and name from Dunkin’ Donuts to a clean and simple moniker.
