Keke’s Breakfast Cafe is continuing its Florida expansion with a new Hollywood location planned.
Canary Enterprises LLC filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to open a Keke’s Breakfast Cafe at 5301 Sheridan Street. An opening date has not been announced, but the restaurant’s website confirms that the location is “coming soon”.
Founded in Orlando in 2006 by brothers Keith and Kevin Mahen, Keke’s Breakfast Cafe was inspired by the neighborhood breakfast restaurants they enjoyed while growing up in Philadelphia. The restaurant’s name combines the first syllables of both Keith and Kevin’s names to make the charming name of “Keke”. Since then, the brand has built a loyal following with its made-to-order breakfasts, oversized omelets, Belgian waffles, pancakes, stuffed French toast and fresh lunch offerings.
Today, Keke’s operates more than 80 locations across the United States and continues to expand following its acquisition by Denny’s in 2022. The company has been adding restaurants in Florida and several other states as part of a national growth strategy.
The Hollywood cafe joins the growing list of Keke’s locations in South Florida that includes Boc Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and more.
