As Midtown Tampa, “Tampa’s first truly walkable 1.8M sq ft live-work-play destination,” continues to develop its retail and restaurant environment, the mixed-use development has signed three new tenants. South Florida restaurant Pura Vida Miami, yoga studio chain CorePower Yoga, and window-treatment retailer The Shade Store will open new locations there, according to coverage published this week by Tampa Bay Business & Wealth.

“The leases follow the retail joint venture Bromley Companies and Ram Realty Advisors formed earlier this year to oversee merchandising and leasing at Midtown,” the coverage said. “The partnership has focused on refining the tenant mix as the $1 billion development matures, adding businesses that serve residents, office workers, hotel guests and visitors throughout the day.”

Born in the Miami market, Pura Vida Miami has been expanding in various parts of the country. What Now has followed openings in New York City, Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood, California’s Orange County, and beyond. Once a small collection of restaurants, Pura Vida Miami, which is headed up by Founder & CEO Omer Horev, has grown to more than fifty locations in a network spanning from coast to coast.

The Pura Vida menu includes selections of Sandwiches, Wraps, Salads, and Bowls, plus All Day Breakfast choices like the Perfect Egg Sandwich (artisanal toasted plain bagel pasture-raised soft-boiled eggs, arugula, tomato, mozzarella, smashed avocado, olive oil, red pepper flakes) and Overnight Oats. There are also Plates like the Roasted Salmon Plate (Oven-roasted salmon, cilantro Jasmine rice, topped with sesame seeds, served with house salad made with mixed greens, green onion, radish, pecan, shaved parmesan, sumac vinaigrette) and the Raw Wild Tuna Plate.

“We craft every menu item to meet today’s fast-paced lifestyle needs with an emphasis on colorful plates filled with fruits, vegetables, and proteins,” says the Pura Vida Miami website. “We believe in eating balanced nutritional meals that are tasty and satisfying. By championing the use of premium whole ingredients as the standard of our values, we are able to consistently offer our guests an exceptional dining experience, promoting a truly attainable & conscious approach to food, that is part of our everyday healthy lifestyle.”

No opening date has been announced for Pura Vida Midtown Tampa.
