Pura Vida, the Miami-based cafe that offers indulgent, lifestyle-driven meals, is opening its first Wynwood location.
The restaurant company’s parent has leased space at The Gateway at Wynwood, located at 2916 N. Miami Avenue, moving its corporate headquarters from South Beach to Miami’s artistic hub. In addition, Pura Vida is planning on opening a cafe at the same address. The cafe, however, won’t be open until mid-2027, according to South Florida Business Journal.
In 2012, Omer and Jennifer Horev opened a single cafe in Miami Beach called Pura Vida with the idea of it being more of a lifestyle than just a place to grab a coffee. Today, there are more than 50 Pura Vidas throughout the U.S. In Florida, there are more than 30, with additional locations in California, New York City, New Jersey, Maryland, and Virginia.
The restaurant is popular for its menu that features smoothies, cold pressed juices, salads, wraps, and sandwiches. For lighter bites, Pura Vida offers coffee and matcha drinks, pastries, empanadas, parfaits, and cookies.
