Hot Cookie is set to grow its Bay Area footprint with a new location in the works, according to a recent announcement shared by the brand on social media. The brand recently unveiled a “Coming Soon” sign announcing a new location set to open at PIER 39, at Beach & Embarcadero, signaling its continued expansion within one of San Francisco’s most visited waterfront destinations

The San Francisco-based bakery, known for its playful branding and signature cookie offerings, revealed it will be opening another store as part of its ongoing expansion across the city. The move adds to its existing presence in San Francisco and reinforces the company’s continued growth beyond its original Castro District location.

Founded in 1997, Hot Cookie built its reputation on a mix of freshly baked cookies, ice cream, and a bold, irreverent identity that quickly made it a local favorite. Over the years, the brand has expanded within San Francisco and has also pushed into new markets, including Palm Springs, as it continues to scale its West Coast presence.

Hot Cookie offers a mix of classic and indulgent cookie flavors, including Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle, Peanut Butter, Cookies & Cream, and Oatmeal Raisin, along with richer options like Triple Chocolate Fudge, S’mores, and Brookie. The lineup also features specialty flavors such as Cocoa Cayenne and Coconut Almond Milk Chocolate Chip, highlighting the brand’s playful approach to traditional bakery staples.

On its website, Hot Cookie highlights three core pillars that define the brand: its cookies, its community, and, most importantly, its customers. The company emphasizes that it remains a welcoming space for all, where guests are encouraged to feel “fun, flirty, and sexy,” reinforcing its playful identity and inclusive atmosphere.
