Flower Child is coming to Cypress! According to a recently filed permit, the health-focused fast-casual concept is expected to open at 14611 Mason Road, Suite 85A. The address belongs to the new Dunham Pointe development.

Construction on the new Cypress Flower Child is planned for a May 2027 start and is slated to wrap up by November of next year. If all goes well with the $1.3 million construction project and permitting, the new 4,575 square-foot Greater Houston region Flower Child should open before the end of next year.

At the helm of the opening is The Cheesecake Factory‘s Scarlett May, who serves as the brand’s Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary. What Now Houston reached out to May, who was listed on the permit. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.

“Flower Child is a differentiated healthy eatery in the growing fast casual dining segment. Flower Child offers a healthy and balanced dining experience for all lifestyles with a selection of gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan items for lunch and dinner seven days a week,” The Cheesecake Factory’s Investor Relations website reads.

“All dishes are handmade from scratch daily, featuring farm-fresh, locally-sourced, all-natural and organic ingredients. The plant-forward, chef-constructed menu features a customizable menu of bowls, wraps, salads and a variety of mix-and-match veggies, grains, fruits and healthy proteins.”

Flower Child was founded in 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona, by acclaimed restaurateur Sam Fox of Fox Restaurant Concepts. The brand grew under Fox before being acquired by The Cheesecake Factory in 2019. There are now more than 40 Flower Child locations across the United States, with a heavy concentration in Texas and Arizona. Texas has 14 of those locations. The new Flower Child coming to Cypress will be the fifth Greater Houston opening.

“Flower Child is a restaurant for everyone,” the Flower Child website reads.

“Because it’s all good. From every organic vegetable to every thoughtful entrée. From every genuine team member, to every positive environment. We promise a holistic experience rooted in good.”
