Waxxed Cards, one of the fastest-growing sports card and collectibles brands in the country, plans to bring a new location to Forney. According to public filings, the store could open at 471 Marketplace Blvd. in the Shops at Forney II, with a targeted completion date of August 2026.

What Now Dallas reached out to Waxxed Cards representatives, but did not get an answer prior to publication.

The brand offers an extensive selection of hobby boxes, sealed cases, single cards, memorabilia, and supplies, alongside grading services and consignment, all under one roof. The concept also hosts celebrity events and maintains active online selling platforms to complement the in-store experience.

The Forney location would add to Waxxed’s rapidly expanding footprint, which currently spans 19 locations across Texas, Florida, Colorado, and Singapore, with six additional shops under construction and six more set to open later in 2026, according to Fanatics Collect.

Founded by Joe and Laurence, who previously built separate card shop brands, Triple Cards & Collectibles and Sappy’s Sports Cards, Waxxed has grown into a modern hobby destination where collectors can buy, sell, trade, and open packs together.

The Forney opening reflects the brand’s strategic focus on high-traffic suburban markets with strong family demographics. Forney, one of the fastest-growing cities in Kaufman County, has seen a wave of national brands invest in its expanding retail corridors in recent years.
