Denver International Airport travelers could one day grab a bite at a Broncos-themed restaurant under a proposal moving through the city’s approval process.
The proposed Broncos Mile High Grill would open in Concourse B under a concession agreement between Denver International Airport and SSP America. According to the Denver Business Journal, the 3,823-square-foot restaurant is expected to open in 2029, pending final approvals.
SSP America, one of North America’s largest airport concession operators, was selected through a competitive process to develop and operate the restaurant. The company has a licensing agreement with the Denver Broncos to use the team’s branding.
Customers can expect a football-themed dining experience featuring Broncos memorabilia throughout the restaurant, along with menu items inspired by players and memorable moments in franchise history.
The restaurant was originally planned for Concourse C, but the concept was later relocated to Concourse B after Denver International Airport repurposed the original space for an airline-related project according to the media outlet. The new location places the restaurant within United Airlines’ primary concourse.
The proposal recently advanced through the Denver City Council’s Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and is awaiting consideration by the full City Council.
