Herndon diners, there’s a new monarch in town-or at least there will be soon. The brains behind Maharani Palace are opening a concept called King Kebab and it is bringing Mediterranean cuisine to area diners, reports local media outlet The Burn.

The new restaurant is moving into the Dulles Park Shopping Center. King Kebab does not have a readily available opening timeline, however the windows are sporting signage for the upcoming concept.

King Kebab will specialize in gyros, falafel, and-of course-kebabs. The signs in the window establishes a few salient facts; the restaurant will be “coming soon”. While this is not fantastically specific it does give future regulars reason to be optimistic about the eatery’s arrival. King Kebab will offer its “taste of the Mediterranean” via dine-in, take out, and catering options.

Although there is still not an abundance of information available about King Kebab, Herndon foodies are in good hands. Maharani Palace is an established area favorite, and the King Kebab team will certainly maintain the same high standards at this new endeavor. What Now DC has reached out to ownership for further details and will update readers as information emerges.
