Last September, What Now reported on plans for growing burger chain The Brave Burger to open a new location at 888 City Walk Ln in Oviedo.
“When The Brave Burger moves in, readers can expect ‘handcrafted burgers by warrior cooks who are brave enough to dare and make these carry with them, with selected meats, succulent sauces, and artisan breads,’” said the What Now coverage.
Now, that location has launched, and owner Sergio Bosco tells What Now that another new Brave Burger is soon to follow, this time in the Marketplace at Avalon Park. For The Brave Burger, which began as a food truck, the Avalon Park location, like the Oviedo location, represents a kind of homecoming.
“We’re expecting to see some old customers,” said Bosco. “In the beginning, when we were a food truck, we were all around this area. In Oviedo, in Avalon Park, in Celebration, people who have lived there for a long time know us.”
And more expansion is to come, Bosco says. The restaurant plans to spread all over Florida, making its way into the South Florida and Tampa Bay markets.
In these new locations, you’ll find fresh Black Angus beef patties, brisket smoked in-house (try the Texas Brisket Burger and the Brisket Loaded Fries!), foot-long hot dogs, and French Fries fried in beef tallow.
Located at 3801 Avalon Park E Blvd, the Marketplace at Avalon Park is a food hall home to restaurants like Pepe’s Cantina Express, Resto Argentinian Kitchen, and Yumfinity.
