Taco Bell, a fast-food Mexican-inspired restaurant chain, is getting ready to open a new location in Toronto at 501 St. Clair West.

The upcoming restaurant was announced through a “coming soon” sign displayed at the base of the Rise Condominiums building, according to BlogTO. An exact opening date has not yet been announced, and Taco Bell has not confirmed additional details about the location. Late last year, Taco Bell Canada announced plans to double its footprint in Canada within the next five to seven years.

The new Taco Bell will join the existing retail tenants at the Rise Condominiums, including Popeyes and A&W. With the addition of Taco Bell, fast food restaurants will make up a large portion of the building’s commercial spaces. The development is located near the Bathurst and St. Clair West intersection, where customers can also find nearby chains including Harvey’s, Subway, and Osmow’s.

Taco Bell operates locations across Canada, offering a menu focused on Mexican-inspired fast food. The brand is known for items such as Crunchwrap Supreme, Cheesy Gordita Crunch, Doritos Locos Tacos, and a variety of burritos and quesadillas.

The new St. Clair West location will offer a range of Taco Bell’s current menu items, including its Luxe Boxes, party packs, nacho fries, specialty tacos, and vegetarian options. Customers can also expect sides and sweets such as Cinnamon Twists, Cinnabon Delights, and churros.

The arrival of Taco Bell adds another restaurant option to the growing retail mix around the Rise Condominiums. While the opening timeline has not been confirmed, more details are expected as construction and preparations for the new location progress.
