Splitsville Bowl, a Canadian family entertainment brand known for its bowling centers, arcades, and food and beverage offerings, is getting ready to open a new flagship location in Etobicoke at 25 The West Mall, Unit 1150A, inside CF Sherway Gardens.
The company’s new location is set to occupy approximately 34,000 square feet of the former Nordstrom store, according to Retail Insider. The venue is expected to open in Fall 2027 and will feature 22 lanes of 10-pin bowling, an interactive arcade, food and beverage service, and dedicated event spaces for parties, social gatherings, and corporate functions. Customers can also expect the company’s signature mix of bowling, arcade entertainment, and casual dining.
What Now previously reported that Splitsville was preparing to open new Ontario locations in Pickering and Barrie in Fall 2026. Since then, the company has continued to expand its footprint, with additional locations planned in Etobicoke and Edmonton’s Manning Town Center, both scheduled to open in Fall 2027. Splitsville currently operates entertainment centers across Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, with several more locations in development.
The new Sherway Gardens venue marks another step in the ongoing transformation of the former Nordstrom space. Nordstrom opened its approximately 140,000 square foot department store at CF Sherway Gardens in September 2017 before closing, along with the retailer’s remaining Canadian locations, in June 2023. While Cadillac Fairview has not announced plans for the rest of the former Nordstrom space, portions of the building have been used for temporary Ontario Science Centre exhibitions, and T&T Supermarket is also preparing to open a roughly 40,000 square foot store at the shopping centre in 2027.
Splitsville Entertainment has built its business around combining bowling with interactive attractions designed for families, groups, and corporate events. Depending on the location, centers also include attractions such as mini golf, laser tag, and golf simulators, as well as lounges and private event spaces. The company’s entertainment-focused model has helped expand bowling into a broader social destination across Canada.
In addition to bowling, customers can expect a full food and beverage menu featuring appetizers, pizzas, burgers, wings, salads, kids’ meals, and vegetarian and gluten-free options. Food can be enjoyed at the bowling lanes or in the lounge areas, while the Sherway Gardens location will also accommodate private parties and corporate events with dedicated event spaces. This will be an excellent landing space for Splitsville Bowl, given that CF Sherway Gardens continues to add new entertainment and retail concepts as the shopping center evolves.
