Crispy Cones is preparing to bring its signature chimney-style pastry cones and soft-serve treats to Denver’s Jefferson Park neighborhood.
The new shop is planned for the corner of W. 23rd Ave. and Federal Blvd, where local franchisees Abu and Sharmeen Parvez have purchased the property and submitted permits to convert the building into a Crispy Cones location according to Hoodline Denver.
The Jefferson Park shop will mark another step in the brand’s Colorado expansion, following the opening of its first location in Centennial earlier this year.
Known for its made-to-order pastry cones, Crispy Cones serves rotisserie-grilled dough coated in cinnamon sugar before filling each cone with soft-serve ice cream and a variety of toppings and sauces.
The concept gained national attention after appearing on ABC’s ‘Shark Tank’, where founders Jeremy and Kaitlyn Carlson secured an investment to help grow the business. Since then, the brand has expanded through franchising, bringing its dessert concept to markets across the United States.
