Western apparel brand Tecovas is planning to expand its New Orleans footprint with a new store on Magazine Street.
According to a recent announcement from Hive Construction, the company has been selected as the general contractor for Tecovas’ new location at 3901 Magazine St. Work is expected to transform the space into the brand’s latest retail store along one of the city’s busiest shopping corridors.
Founded in 2015, Tecovas is known for its handcrafted cowboy boots, apparel and leather goods for men and women. The Texas-based retailer has steadily expanded its brick-and-mortar presence across the country with stores designed to reflect the character of each local community.
Details about the Magazine Street location, including an opening timeline and store features, have not yet been announced. What Now New Orleans reached out to Tecovas for additional information but had not received a response at the time of publication.
