Sushi by Bou is eyeing a space for its Georgia debut, according to a recent permit filing. The omakase concept has filed a permit for a Midtown location at 675 W. Peachtree St. NE, Suite 107. A business called Sushi By Bou Peachtree LLC filed for registration in the state on July 20.
Currently the brand has 20 locations, including eight in New York, two in New Jersey, three in Florida, two in Illinois, one in Tennessee, one in Utah, one in Ohio, one in Puerto Rico and one in Washington, D.C.
Sushi by Bou offers different omakase options, including its signature 12-course Edomae-style omakase, a 17-course Bougie Omakase and a Bou Reserve Omakase featuring a 17-course experience with a caviar bump, foie gras snow, a Wagyu upgrade, bone marrow and truffle.
Parent company Simplevenue operates Sushi by Bou alongside other brands, including New York restaurants Omakaseed, Fins and Scales, and Wagyu Room. What Now Atlanta reached out to the Simplevenue team for more details on the Atlanta location but did not receive additional details prior to the time of publication. An opening timeline remains unclear.
