Pizza Carmelina, a new Italian pizza and coffee concept, is getting ready to open inside Stouffville GO at 6176 Main Street in Stouffville.
The company announced the opening on Instagram, stating that Pizza Carmelina will serve customers from inside the GO station. An exact opening date has not been announced, although the company said the shop is expected to open in late August or early September. Customers can expect Italian pizza, panuozzo, coffee, fresh baked goods, and other breakfast options.
Pizza Carmelina’s website describes the new location as a spot designed for commuters, with weekday hours beginning at 6 a.m. The concept will offer grab-and-go options, online ordering for pickup and delivery, and freshly made food for customers on their way to or from the station.
The menu will center on Neapolitan pizza and panuozzo, an Italian sandwich made with pizza dough. The shop will also serve premium coffee, baked goods, and loaded bagels, giving customers options for both quick breakfasts and later meals.
Pizza Carmelina plans to offer seating on a veranda along Heritage Main Street, in addition to its grab-and-go service inside Stouffville GO. The shop will also feature rotating weekly specials, according to the company’s website.
The company currently lists hours of 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Customers can also order ahead online for pickup or delivery. More details about the opening date are expected to be shared by Pizza Carmelina as the launch approaches.
