The drilling is now underway for the project as it moves into its next phase. The early work included soil testing, asphalt removal, and relocating mature mango trees. The developer is also upgrading existing water and sewer infrastructure to support the development and surrounding area.

Ombelle is located in Flagler Village, a rapidly developing neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale. The development will offer convenient access to Brightline, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, and Port Everglades. It will be close to residential, retail, and cultural destinations.

Ombelle will also feature more than 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities. These will include sunrise and sunset pools, yoga and Pilates studios, saunas, and steam rooms. It will also include a cold plunge pool, pickleball courts, a golf simulator, a gaming lounge, a mini-golf course, a co-working space, a podcast studio, a pet spa, and a children’s playroom.

A major feature of the project will be a 35,000-square-foot Equinox Fitness Club. It will be the brand’s first location in Fort Lauderdale.
