A new luxury fitness concept backed by one of the largest gym operators in the country is coming to Northeast Austin. According to public building permits, Club Studio Fitness plans to open at 3101 E. Yager Lane, Building 1, where construction of a brand-new, single-floor, 34,782-square-foot facility is currently underway.
What Now Austin reached out to Club Studio Fitness representatives to inquire about an opening timeline, but did not receive a response prior to publication.
Club Studio is a fitness concept that brings top-of-the-line amenities, boutique studio classes, and wellness services under one roof. The model combines the community feel of a boutique studio with the scale and amenities of a full-service gym.
The concept is the newest luxury fitness brand from Fitness International, the parent company of LA Fitness, which operates more than 728 locations nationwide.
The Parmer Lane corridor in Northeast Austin sits near the Samsung semiconductor campus and East Village, a major mixed-use development that has attracted several new concepts in recent months, including District 1 Coffee & Co., previously covered by What Now Austin.
A second Club Studio location is also planned for South Austin at 1824 W. Slaughter Lane. Together, the two locations would give Club Studio a presence on opposite ends of the city as the brand expands into the Austin market.
