A locally rooted nail and spa concept that has been part of the Hutto community for nearly a decade is expanding to Pflugerville. According to public filings, Nexgen Spa & Nails plans to open at 17713 N. SH 130, Service Road NB, Suite 100, within Pflugerville Retail Center Building 1.

What Now Austin spoke with owner Hanna Nguyen, who confirmed that the opening is targeted for late 2026 or early 2027.

Nexgen Spa & Nails offers a full range of nail and spa services, including manicures, pedicures, acrylics, gel nails, and waxing, with a focus on providing a clean, comfortable, and personalized experience for every guest.

According to Nguyen, the move is a natural extension of the brand’s roots.

“Nexgen has been part of the Hutto community since 2017. As we considered growing the business, Pflugerville felt like a natural next step. It’s a growing community, and we felt this location would allow us to serve both our longtime clients and many new families in the area,” she told What Now Austin.

For Nguyen, the expansion is about more than adding a second location. The brand has earned a strong reputation in Hutto for its meticulous technique and the care its staff provides to each client, qualities Nguyen is determined to carry into the new location.

“This second location is not just about expanding the business; it’s about bringing the same quality, care, and welcoming experience we’ve worked hard to build in Hutto to another community,” she told What Now Austin.

That approach has been central to Nexgen’s identity since it first opened its doors in Hutto in 2017, helping the business build a loyal client base through consistent quality, attentive service, and a warm, community-focused atmosphere.

The Pflugerville Retail Center on SH 130 puts Nexgen in a rapidly developing commercial corridor serving one of the Austin metro’s fastest-growing suburbs. The building shares a block with several other new concepts opening in the same center. What Now Austin has previously covered businesses in the area, including Hao Hao, signaling the corridor’s emergence as a growing retail destination in North Travis County.

Nguyen’s approach to future growth reflects the same measured philosophy. “We believe in growing carefully and making sure each location maintains the quality and experience our clients expect from Nexgen,” she told What Now Austin.
