Skywalker Grill is a new restaurant opening next month at the top of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, offering panoramic views of Los Angeles. The menu will focus on classic American dishes made with seasonal ingredients.
Skywalker Grill to Open at Lucas Museum in Los Angeles
Skywalker Grill, the new restaurant at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, will open on September 22. The restaurant is designed by Rockwell Group and operated by Rhubarb Events & Hospitality Collection. The concept is inspired by the welcoming atmosphere of George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch.
According to the official announcement, the restaurant will be open to museum visitors and the general public. It will serve lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch, with hours extending beyond the museum’s regular schedule.
Lucas Museum CEO Tracey Bates said Skywalker Grill will complement the museum experience.

Inside the New Restaurant
The restaurant features cherry wood panels that cover the walls and ceilings, while softly illuminated white surfaces add light to the space.
“The Lucas Museum celebrates the power of storytelling, and we wanted Skywalker Grill to become part of that narrative,” says David Rockwell, Founder and President, Rockwell Group.
At the center of the restaurant is a sculptural bar, which is surrounded by smaller seating areas designed for conversation. The space also includes a private dining room with switch-glass walls and an outdoor terrace surrounded by greenery.
Skywalker Grill will offer classic American dishes made with California-grown and seasonal ingredients. The restaurant aims to create a menu that is suitable for both museum visitors and locals looking for a new dining destination.
