Pacoima restaurant El Pollo Peru is reopening in a new space in Sylmar, the restaurant shared recently on its social media. It will open at 13231 Gladstone Ave., according to signage spotted by @whatsnewsfv.

The restaurant, formerly located at 13273 Van Nuys Blvd in Pacoima, suffered smoke damage during a fire in February that forced the closure of El Pollo Peru.

The menu features Peruvian dishes such as ceviche, lomo saltado, Pollo a la Brasa, Tallarin Saltado, Papa a la Huancaina and Choritos a la Chalaca.

The team announced that the Sylmar location will open soon, though an exact opening timeline remains unknown. What Now Los Angeles reached out to the ownership team but did not hear back prior to the time of publication.

The team also operates El Pollo Peru Express in Chatsworth and Peru’s Bake Shop in Panorama City.
