Los Angeles-based Common Space Brewery is planning a new taproom and beer garden in Highland Park. It will open at 5050 E. York Blvd, according to permitting filed with Los Angeles City Planning.
The taproom and restaurant will open in a 2,125-square-foot space, and there will be a 2,773-square-foot rear patio and garden. There will be 62 indoor seats and 45 outdoor seats, according to filed paperwork. When it opens, the taproom is expected to operate from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. daily.
The new taproom and beer garden is expected to open in 2027, featuring beers on tap and food. The outdoor patio will be dog-friendly and feature a rotating communal gallery space and plenty of greenery.
“At Common Space, we believe beer is better when it brings people together,” the website states. “We can’t wait to share that with the community. Highland Park has such a great vibe and neighborhood pride. We couldn’t be more excited to have it be the next home of Common Space.”
The brand currently has an existing taproom in Hawthorne, which has been open since 2018.
