Sky Zone is opening an indoor trampoline park at 11900 SE 82nd Ave in Happy Valley, taking over the entire lower level of the former Nordstrom department store at Clackamas Town Center. The space spans roughly 54,000 square feet, and construction is currently underway, with the location targeting a fall 2026 opening.
The trampoline park operates across the country, typically featuring wall-to-wall trampolines, foam pits, dodgeball courts, and climbing features aimed at kids, teens, and adults alike. The chain has continued expanding nationally even as some competitors in the indoor entertainment space have pulled back.
Nordstrom closed its Clackamas Town Center store in 2020, one of 16 locations the retailer shuttered nationwide during the coronavirus pandemic. The 120,000-square-foot space has sat empty since, eventually purchased by Rhino Investments Group, which has worked to divide the building among multiple new tenants rather than bringing in a single anchor replacement.
Sky Zone will share the former Nordstrom building with several other new tenants, including a bouldering gym from Movement Climbing, Yoga and Fitness and an indoor playground from Kids Empire, both set to open on other floors of the same building, as part of a broader effort to bring new life to the long vacant space. A spokesperson confirmed to the Oregonian that construction is progressing on schedule, with the fall opening still the current target.
