Sprouts Farmers Market is coming to the Estrella community in Goodyear, where it will anchor a new retail development at Estrella Marketplace on N. Estrella Parkway near North Lake, according to an announcement from the City of Goodyear.
The Sprouts store will span approximately 23,024 square feet and will be part of the first phase of the project, which will total about 35,224 square feet. Plans also call for 9,200 square feet of inline retail space and a 3,000-square-foot standalone building.
A second phase planned along the lake could add another 16,000 to 20,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.
The development is a project by Common Bond Development Group, in partnership with the City of Goodyear and Harvard Investments, the master developer of Estrella. Construction is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027. An opening date for Sprouts has not yet been announced.
The center is planned near North Lake, the Yacht Club of Estrella, and the Starpointe Residents’ Club. Early plans call for wood finishes and steel details inspired by sail masts.
The development is also entering its initial leasing phase, with plans to bring in service businesses, local concepts, and regional brands.
Headquartered in Phoenix, Sprouts Farmers Market specializes in fresh produce, natural and organic groceries, bulk foods, vitamins, and other grocery items.
