A fitness concept built around exercising inside an infrared sauna is coming to Sanger. According to public filings, HOTWORX plans to open at 1505 W. Chapman Drive, Suite 300, with a grand opening targeted for November or December 2026, pending construction and permits.
HOTWORX is a 24/7 fitness studio concept that offers sessions inside infrared sauna chambers, from 30-minute isometric workouts like Hot Yoga and Hot Pilates to 15-minute HIIT sessions for those short on time. The infrared heat is designed to amplify the benefits of each workout, accelerating calorie burn, improving circulation, and promoting recovery.
What Now Dallas spoke with Hilda Barber and Lina McGrain, the franchisees behind the project, who confirmed that the opening will follow a three-phase rollout: presales are expected to launch by the end of August or early September, followed by a soft opening around October and a grand opening in November or December.
The format is self-paced and accessible to all fitness levels. “You don’t have to be at a certain fitness level to start,” the franchisees said.
For Barber and McGrain, the concept is designed to accommodate people at different stages of their fitness journeys. “You can take it at your own pace and find the workouts that work best for you. Whether you’re just starting your fitness journey or you’ve been working out for years, there’s something here for you,” they said
Sanger stood out from several locations the pair considered. “The first time we visited, it just felt right,” they said:
“We loved that it still has that country feel, but at the same time, you can see how much the area is growing and changing. The community was welcoming and open to new things, and that made us feel like HOTWORX could really find a home here,” the franchisees told What Now Dallas.
For Hilda and Lina, the vision extends beyond the studio walls. “We want HOTWORX Sanger to become a positive part of the Sanger community.
