Chipotle is rolling out two deals for the back-to-school season for a limited period. One of these includes a School Spirit BOGO promotion for customers wearing school apparel. The other, called ‘Chipotle Sundays,’ offers a free entrée with qualifying digital orders.
Chipotle School Spirit BOGO Arrives on August 20
According to an official announcement, customers wearing school apparel or accessories can take part in Chipotle’s School Spirit BOGO offer on Thursday, August 20. The offer will be available at participating Chipotle restaurants nationwide.
The timing for this offer will be available from 3 p.m. until closing local time. Customers who purchase one eligible entrée can receive a second entrée of equal or lesser value for free.
To qualify, customers must wear school apparel or accessories. Qualifying apparel and accessories include college T-shirts, jerseys, hats, and sweatshirts.
The brand is bringing its offer to restaurants only; Chipotle fans cannot redeem it using the app, website, catering, or delivery. Each check can include up to five free entrées, based on availability and other promotion rules.
Three Sundays Bring a Free Entrée Offer
The fast-casual restaurant chain is also gearing up for the “Chipotle Sundays” deal. According to the company, the promotion follows a TikTok trend around Sunday Chipotle orders as an end-of-weekend meal.
This offer is slated for these Sundays:
- August 23, 2026
- August 30, 2026
- September 6, 2026
On each of these dates, customers in the U.S. can receive one free entrée when they purchase at least two other entrées.
Customers must place a same-day digital order after 3 p.m. local time through the Chipotle app or website. They must use the promo code SUNDAYS for the same.
Extra Rewards Available for College Students
The chain is also highlighting its Chipotle U Rewards program for college students during the back-to-school season. Verified members receive 1,000 bonus points when they sign up. In addition, they can earn 20% more points on making a purchase.
To join, college students must have a Chipotle Rewards account and verify their enrollment through ID.me. The program is separate from the two limited-time offers.
