Miami Beach is getting a new subterranean cocktail destination backed by some serious hospitality firepower.

Zebra Club, a new bar and supper club from acclaimed bartender Naren Young, James Beard Award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein, and hospitality veterans David Martinez and Dan Binkiewicz, is targeting a September opening inside the Townhouse Hotel, located at 150 20th Street in South Beach.

The club will take over the hotel’s below-ground space, previously home to K Ramen and, before that, longtime Miami Beach favorite Bond Street Lounge. Zebra Club promises an upscale supper club and cocktail bar with a particular emphasis on Champagne, martinis and elegant cocktails, along with food from Bernstein.

Young brings considerable cocktail-world credentials to the project. He served as creative director of New York’s Dante when it was named the World’s Best Bar by The World’s 50 Best Bars in 2019. He later relocated to Miami and has been involved with Sweet Liberty and Medium Cool.

Bernstein, Martinez and Binkiewicz are longtime collaborators at Miami Beach’s Sweet Liberty Drinks & Supply Co. Binkiewicz also partnered with Moe Aljaff and Juliette Larrouy on New York’s Schmuck., which was named Best New U.S. Cocktail Bar at the 2026 Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards and ranked No. 4 on North America’s 50 Best Bars this year.

The opening will put the group back in familiar territory: creating a neighborhood-driven drinking destination in Miami Beach, this time with a more polished supper-club sensibility.
