José Andrés Group is preparing to add another major restaurant to its South Florida portfolio.

The hospitality group, run by the iconic chef, will open Bazaar Meat at Andaz Miami Beach this October. The restaurant will open inside the oceanfront resort at 4041 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, bringing Andrés’ unconventional take on the steakhouse to the property. The Andaz website describes Bazaar Meat as, a “celebration of carnivorous dining that combines bold flavors, theatrical presentations and inventive cooking techniques with grilled meats, cocktails and shareable dishes”.

Overseeing the concept will be Manuel “Manny” Echeverri, a longtime José Andrés Group chef who has spent more than a decade with the company and has remained based in Miami. Echeverri currently serves as culinary director for Bazaar, according to José Andrés Group.

Bazaar Meat has become one of Andrés’ signature concepts, with restaurants in Las Vegas, Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C. The menu is known for treating meat as the centerpiece of the experience, while incorporating Andrés’ Spanish influences and playful approach to fine dining. Current Bazaar Meat offerings include Ibérico ham, wagyu, foie gras, and caviar.
