“THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER!” said a Facebook post published Tuesday by Envy Bar & Lounge, a new bar preparing to open at 2990 S Sanford Ave in Sanford. “Get ready, Sanford… something BIG is coming! ENVY BAR & LOUNGE is bringing a whole new vibe to the city! Whether you’re coming for the drinks, the food, the music, or just the atmosphere — ENVY is about to be the place to be!”
Envy Bar & Lounge is another project from Joey Acevedo and Stephen Berigan, the team behind Don Patron, the new bar soon to start serving up “A New Taste of Apopka Nights,” as What Now reported last month.
Yesterday’s post promises “Good Vibes, Good Food, Good Music, and Good Fun,” saying a Grand Opening is coming soon.
What Now reached out on Tuesday to Joey Acevedo to ask about plans for the opening. Acevedo was not immediately available for comment, but stay tuned for an update as more details are revealed.
Google Maps says an opening is expected on September 15.
