Nahom Mekonnen, owner of Illusion Sports Lounge in Lawrenceville, will open a new concept in Brookhaven this fall. Eggscape will open at 2829 Buford Hwy NE, Mekonnen told What Now Atlanta.
The new spot will offer breakfast and brunch. It is currently under construction and is expected to open later in September.
Mekonnen hopes to eventually expand the concept to seven locations.
Mekonnen has another concept slated to open this year in Buckhead. In November, he expects to open Illusion Sports Bar in Buckhead as he continues to expand his footprint in the hospitality scene.
