Arkansas-based coffee chain 7 Brew is headed toward another Triangle location, with a new drive-thru proposed at 4603 N.C. 55 Highway in Durham, according to Triangle Business Journal.
The City of Durham has received plans for a 901-square-foot 7 Brew shop with a drive-thru on approximately 0.7 acres, Triangle Business Journal reports. The proposed site would add another location for the rapidly expanding coffee brand in the Triangle.
The Durham project follows other 7 Brew developments in the region. According to Triangle Business Journal, the company is also working on locations in Smithfield and at 9700 Falls of Neuse Road in Raleigh, giving the brand several projects in the area as it expands its North Carolina presence.
7 Brew’s official website describes its locations as drive-thru-focused stands rather than traditional coffee shops with indoor seating. The company’s menu includes coffee, teas, smoothies, energy drinks and other beverages, with customers able to customize drinks from a wide range of flavors and combinations, according to the brand’s website.
The company’s official website also lists locations across North Carolina, reflecting the brand’s continued growth in the state.
The proposed Durham location would continue that format along N.C. 55, although Triangle Business Journal reports that an opening date has not yet been announced. The project will need to move through the city’s development process before construction and opening details become clearer.
For now, the Durham proposal adds another location to 7 Brew’s growing Triangle pipeline and signals continued expansion for the coffee chain in the region, according to Triangle Business Journal.
