South Block is growing its Charlotte footprint with a third location at 110 East Boulevard in South End, where construction is now underway, the brand announced on Instagram.
According to South Block’s Instagram, the company recently shared a first look at the future location, with its graphics now up and construction officially underway. The brand said the South End shop will serve acai bowls, smoothies and “good vibes” when it opens.
South Block’s website describes its menu as centered on acai bowls, smoothies, juices and other fresh offerings. The menu includes bowls such as the Warrior Bowl, with ingredients and toppings including granola, fresh fruit, almond butter, cacao nibs, chia seeds, and blue spirulina. The company also offers smoothies built around fruit, greens and protein, along with fresh juices and toast, according to its website.
South Block has not announced an opening date for the South End location. In its Instagram announcement, the company encouraged customers to sign up for updates ahead of the opening and said those who join its list can receive a free Mini Warrior Acai Bowl when the shop opens.
The new shop will be South Block’s third Charlotte location, according to the company’s Instagram announcement. The expansion gives the brand another presence in one of Charlotte’s most active restaurant and retail neighborhoods while bringing its acai-focused menu to the East Boulevard corridor.
