Fresh-baked breads, colorful pastries and specialty coffee are coming to Aurora as 85°C Bakery Cafe prepares to open a new location.
The bakery cafe is planned for 2767 S. Parker Road in Aurora, and the location is currently listed as ‘coming soon’.
85°C Bakery Cafe started back in 2003 when the founder, Cheng-Hsueh Wu, went to a five-star hotel cafe and got the idea that coffee, bread, and cakes of such high quality need to be available at reasonable prices. Now there are over 1,000 stores of 85°C across the world, and the first one in the USA opened its doors in Irvine, California, in 2008.
Freshness plays an important role in the concept of the brand. All 85°C stores have their own bakeries in the store. According to the company, there are over 50 different types of pastries in 85°C, which are freshly made daily.
The menu covers both sweet and savory baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes and individual desserts. The company also offers a selection of coffee, tea and specialty drinks.
Among the drinks is the brand’s Sea Salt Coffee, made with a sweetened Americano and sea salt whipped cream. Other options include Sea Salt Caramel Coffee, jasmine green tea and black tea. The bakery’s name comes from its connection to coffee: 85°C refers to the company’s belief that 85 degrees Celsius is the ideal brewing temperature for espresso.
The company’s current U.S. locations include California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Texas, Utah, Hawaii, Arizona, New Jersey, New York, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
