Texas Roadhouse, a national steakhouse chain known for hand-cut steaks, ribs, and made-from-scratch sides, is getting ready to open in Camarillo at 650 E. Ventura Blvd.
The company’s new location is scheduled to open on October 19 in the Camarillo Premium Outlets, according to the Texas Roadhouse website. The Camarillo restaurant will be managed by Zully Vix, who is listed as the location’s managing partner. Customers can expect the chain’s menu of hand-cut steaks, fall-off-the-bone ribs, country dinners, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and made-from-scratch sides, along with beer, wine, cocktails, and margaritas.
Texas Roadhouse was founded by Kent Taylor, who opened the first restaurant in Clarksville, Indiana, in 1993. The company has since expanded into a national restaurant chain, with locations serving its steakhouse menu across the United States. The brand’s stated mission is “Legendary Food, Legendary Service,” with its restaurants built around made-from-scratch food and table service.
The Camarillo restaurant will offer several of the chain’s core menu categories, including hand-cut steaks, Texas Size Combos, chicken specialties, country dinners, and dockside favorites. The menu also includes kids and Ranger meals, desserts, and a selection of beverages. Fresh-baked bread is another part of the Texas Roadhouse offering, along with the restaurant’s signature sides.
The restaurant’s steak selection includes several cuts prepared to order, while customers can also choose from ribs, chicken, burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Side options are available to accompany entrees, and the restaurant emphasizes scratch-made food.
