Blank Street, a New York-born coffee and matcha brand, opens its first West Coast location on August 21. The store is located at 13273 Ventura Blvd in Studio City. It is the brand’s 106th location worldwide.

The space draws inspiration from Los Angeles’ Case Study houses. It features a midcentury-inspired design with steel, glass, and wood elements. The brand’s signature green color appears throughout the interior and outdoor patio.

“Studio City felt right for our California debut,” said Blank Street Co-Founder and CEO Issam Freiha. “Beyond the neighborhood’s charm and storied history, it has the creative spirit and strong sense of community that matters so much to us.”

Blank Street Studio City opens daily from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The brand also plans to open a Beverly Hills location later this year.

Later this year, Blank Street plans to introduce an ice cream menu developed with Zen Ong of Awan. The lineup will include flavors inspired by popular drinks, such as White Chocolate Matcha, Vanilla Bean Affogato, Mocha, and Strawberry Shortcake Matcha.
