A grocery super star is getting ready to plant its flag in a new Virginia market. Beloved by shoppers across the country, Trader Joe’s is officially signed on to open a location in Fredericksburg, stirring excitement in locals.
Trader Joe’s will be opening as part of the development of the Ulmanor Farm property. The 34.2 acre plot located at 3430 Fall Hill Avenue will be turned into a major mixed-use development, with Trader Joe’s anchoring the retail segment.
It is too early to estimate an opening for the market; while Trader Joe’s Fredericksburg arrival has been speculated about for some time, Coldwell Banker Commercial only announced that the deal was officially closed on August 19.
The announcement has inspired considerable enthusiasm among future customers, proving that locals are ready to wait however long it takes for the concept’s arrival. Brian Cunningham, CCIM, Senior Vice President with Coldwell Banker Commercial Elite further confirms this, stating: “After working in this market for many years, seeing Trader Joe’s come to Fredericksburg is especially rewarding. It has long been one of the region’s most requested retailers, making its arrival a real win for our community.”
