Located at 1401 Sam Rittenberg Blvd in Charleston, Frothy Beard Brewing Co. serves up “Cold Craft Beers and Pub Grub Done Right.”

“At Frothy Beard Brewing Company, craft beer and bold food go hand in hand,” says the brewer’s website. “From rotating house-brewed beers to pizzas, wings, burgers, and creative pub favorites, everything on our menu is designed to pair perfectly with a pint. Whether you’re into hazy IPAs, crisp lagers, or something experimental, there’s always something new on tap.”

Now, Frothy Beard looks to be considering developing a new brewery in West Ashley. This week, the brewer submitted plans to the City of Charleston for a “Frothy Beard Relocation” at 1090 Sam Rittenberg Blvd. The building formerly housed Ms. Rose’s Fine Food & Cocktails.

The project description includes “Purchasing, relocating and building an add on structure to the property located at 1090 Sam Rittenberg Blvd to create a more permanent home for Frothy Beard Brewing Company in the heart of West Ashley.”

What Now contacted a representative of Frothy Beard on Thursday to ask about plans for a Frothy Beard relocation. The representative said there is no news to share yet, and the company is, for the moment, seeing “what our options could be.”
