Wilibees Wines & Spirits is preparing to open a new location at 230 E Blithedale Ave. in Mill Valley, bringing the Sonoma County bottle shop to Marin County. The proposed store will occupy an existing 2,713-square-foot commercial tenant space that was formerly occupied by Pharmaca. The company has not announced a specific opening date for the Mill Valley location.

The liquor store will offer wine, spirits, beer and snacks, including a 100-square-foot tasting bar, and tastings are planned for Thursday through Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m., with capacity limited to six customers at a time.

Wilibees was founded in 2008 by partners Vikram Badhan and Gagan Boparai. The company describes itself as a locally owned specialty bottle shop, with stores currently operating in Petaluma and Santa Rosa. Its selection includes wines, beer and spirits, with products ranging from local offerings to established brands.

The company’s existing operations also include tasting events and specialty beverage offerings. Its website lists categories such as red and white wines, sparkling wine, spirits and mixers, as well as an artisan charcuterie and cheese selection.

Wilibees Wines & Spirits emphasizes a customer-focused approach built around long-term relationships and trust. According to the company’s website, the business aims to provide honest wines and straightforward information, positioning itself as a knowledgeable and approachable “friend in the wine industry.” The philosophy reflects the company’s focus on helping customers make informed choices while developing lasting relationships with its clientele.
