A classic microbrewery and cidery in Orlando is preparing for its last call. Twelve Talons Beerworks will shut its doors permanently after only five years of operations. The brewery is hosting several farewell celebration events throughout the week, according to the social media announcement post.
Twelve Talons Beerworks Set to Close This Sunday
Opened in 2021, Twelve Talons Beerworks is a boutique craft microbrewery, cidery, and meadery. Operated by co-owners Travis Smith and Daniel Diaz, the brewery was founded in 2019 with the aim of creating a relaxed space for the community of beer lovers. Both owners were head brewers and brought a combined 25 years of brewing experience.
It is well known for its unique flavored craft beer and has a rotating tap lineup. The brewery also features core styles of IPAs, sours and stouts, ciders, and meads, all prepared with quality seasonal ingredients.
The brewery team shared the closure announcement on social media and wrote, “Twelve Talons is going dark.”
Twelve Talons Beerworks, located at 2807 E South St, Orlando, FL, is permanently closing on Sunday, August 30.
The brewery team did not share any official reason for its sudden closure.

Final Week Events Planned
For its final week of operation, the brewery will operate at regular hours and will serve “imperial stouts, porters, and meads.” The events and food trucks will remain full operational with birria tacos from Wednesday through Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The brewery will host Dean’s Oyster pop-up on Sunday, August 30, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. In the post, the team also mentioned, “We’re keeping a rounded tap list with a few local guest beers for the lighter stuff.”
Following the closure announcement, several community members of the brewery expressed their sadness on social media. One of the regular customers commented, “I’m so sad about this!! I fly into Orlando this weekend. Definitely making a stop before I leave!”
The team encouraged the community to visit the brewery before it says goodbye permanently. As Twelve Talons Beerworks wraps up its operation in the Milk District neighborhood, it hopes to celebrate the final week with the community.
