Solidcore is joining the lineup of new businesses coming to the Shops on Lane Avenue in Upper Arlington, bringing its high-intensity fitness concept to the shopping center.
According to Columbus Business First, the fitness studio will be part of the redevelopment of the former Bed Bath & Beyond space at the center, which is being divided to accommodate multiple new tenants.
Solidcore will join Piccolo Buco and Pause, a wellness center, as new occupants of the redeveloped space. The additions are part of a broader wave of new businesses coming to the Shops on Lane Avenue.
Solidcore is known for its high-intensity, low-impact workout concept centered around its signature resistance-based fitness classes. The Upper Arlington location will give the fitness brand another presence in the Columbus area.
The former Bed Bath & Beyond store closed in 2023 following the retailer’s bankruptcy and has seen temporary use, including a Spirit Halloween location. The space is now undergoing renovations ahead of its permanent tenants.
The Shops on Lane Avenue is also welcoming several other new businesses. CAVA is planning a location at the shopping center, while Anthropologie is developing a roughly 9,000-square-foot store that will include its Anthropologie Weddings concept. GoGLOW, a spray tan salon, is also slated to join the center.
For Solidcore, the Upper Arlington location will add a fitness option to a shopping center that is continuing to expand its mix of retail, dining, wellness and fitness offerings.
