Mutable Beauty Studio, owned by Kelsie Whitehead and Alyssa Bradley, is moving to a larger space at 4716 E. Thunderbird Rd., Suite 142, inside Phenix Salon Suites in Phoenix. Whitehead told What Now the studio plans to reopen September 28.
The owners will close their current location at 3131 E. Thunderbird Rd., Room 25, on September 26.
Explaining the move, Whitehead described Phenix Salon Suites as “very clean, professional, and well-maintained.”
“We feel like our clients deserve the best environment possible,” she said.
The additional space was another draw for the owners as they look to expand their work in skincare and waxing education.
“Having more room gives us the opportunity to continue growing the studio and expanding what we offer,” Whitehead said.
The women-owned studio’s current services will continue, including full-body waxing, facials, body treatments, and brow and lash tinting. Bradley hopes to add more facial services and introduce Skin Script as one of the skincare lines used at the studio.
Whitehead will continue seeing clients while developing Wax Craft Academy, where she offers one-on-one waxing training.
Whitehead and Bradley have been in business together for three years. They previously worked at Waxing the City in Phoenix, where a sudden closure led them to open their own studio.
Mutable Beauty Studio serves clients of all genders and body types. “We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive, welcoming environment where every client is treated as an individual,” Whitehead said.
