Damaskino Mediterranean Grill is expanding its Jacksonville footprint with a second location planned for 3825 Baymeadows Road.
A city commercial building permit issued this month calls for a tenant build-out at the site, where the restaurant will establish a new location near Goodby’s Creek, according to the Jacksonville Daily Record.
This growth comes as Damaskino continues running its current restaurant located at 8840 Atlantic Blvd., Suite 6, in the Greater Arlington region.
Damaskino’s menu specializes in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern specialties, with items such as shawarma, kebabs, gyros, falafel, hummus, and grilled meat being available for diners. Other choices on Damaskino’s menu include wraps, platters, salads, and sides.
The restaurant’s menu includes chicken and beef shawarma, along with grilled chicken and beef dishes served with rice, salad and other traditional accompaniments. Hummus, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh and falafel round out the menu with lighter options and shareable sides.
The Baymeadows location will give Damaskino an opportunity to bring its Mediterranean menu to another part of Jacksonville while building on the customer base at its Atlantic Boulevard restaurant.
An opening date for the new Damaskino Mediterranean Grill has not yet been announced.
