Cold beer, big screens and sports-lodge vibes are headed to three more South Texas cities as Twin Peaks sets its sights on Brownsville, South Padre Island and Laredo.
The sports lodge restaurant has entered into a new development agreement with InnJoy Hospitality, which will bring the concept to the three markets.
The agreement covers development in Cameron and Webb counties, giving InnJoy Hospitality the rights to develop Twin Peaks restaurants in the area.
Twin Peaks is designed around the experience of watching sports over a meal and a drink. Its restaurants feature large numbers of televisions throughout the dining areas, with live games and other sporting events taking center stage.
The restaurant takes its inspiration from a mountain lodge, with a rustic setting and a menu built around hearty American fare.
Food options include wings, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, flatbreads and steaks, along with appetizers and shareable dishes. Twin Peaks also offers smoked wings and other made-to-order dishes as part of its menu.
Drinks are another big part of the concept, with Twin Peaks known for serving its draft beer at 29 degrees in frosted mugs. The drink menu also includes cocktails and other beer options.
The restaurants are built with sports fans in mind, offering wall-to-wall screens so customers can follow multiple games at once. The concept also hosts events around major sporting occasions, giving the restaurants a social atmosphere beyond regular dining.
For South Texas, the agreement will bring Twin Peaks into three distinct markets. Brownsville and South Padre Island offer a mix of local residents and visitors, while Laredo provides another major market for the brand in the region.
InnJoy Hospitality is a family-owned hospitality company involved in hotels, restaurants, mixed-use developments and retail properties. The new agreement adds Twin Peaks to its development plans in South Texas. The restaurants are still in the development stage, and specific addresses and opening dates have not yet been announced for the Brownsville, South Padre Island or Laredo locations.
