JETSET Pilates is exercising its growth potential in the Greater Houston region. According to an email from the team and a recently filed Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation permit, the new JETSET Pilates studio coming to Conroe is planned to open within the 336 Marketplace at 381 S LOOP 336W, STE 19.
“Conroe is one of the fastest-growing communities in Texas, and there’s real demand here for a modern Pilates experience that goes beyond a typical workout,” CEO of JETSET Pilates, Bert Albertse, said in an email.
“With more than 75 studios across 15 states, JETSET is built around strength, stability, and long-term movement, but just as much around connection. We’re creating a third place, somewhere people come for community as much as results.”
The permit further details that construction is slated to start before the end of this month and is expected to wrap up by mid- November. If all goes well with permitting and the estimated $285,000 construction project, the new JETSET Pilates studio in Conroe should open this fall. The fitness company’s PR team shared that the lease and city permits have been secured and the opening is indeed targeted for late November.
“The studio’s General Manager and Community Lead are already on board and building buzz in the Conroe community via social media,” the brand’s PR team shared.

At the helm of the JETSET Pilates Conroe opening are franchisees Ranbir S. Jamwal and Dr. Vrinda Mohunta. What Now Houston reached out to the two to find out more about the upcoming opening. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication. Fortunately, the brand’s PR team shared additional details via email.
“Dr. Mohunta is a board-certified prosthodontist who trained in India before completing postgraduate work at UCLA and Ohio State. She leads high-touch clinical teams and complex daily operations,” the team shared.
“Jamwal is an engineer and operator with a B.Tech from India, a master’s from Georgia Tech, an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, and eight U.S. and international patents. He also serves as a market development manager for one of the world’s largest steel manufacturers.”
Both are equal partners in FIT1-V3RSJ, LLC. The two also own and operate an implant dental practice in The Woodlands, TX.
“Together, the pair bring a disciplined, KPI-driven approach to operations, team leadership, and service quality that translates directly to JETSET’s manager-led studio model,” JETSET Pilates shared.
Founded in 2010 by Tamara Galinsky and headquartered in Miami, Florida, JETSET Pilates operates more than 80 studio locations across the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom, with 400 total locations signed or in development.
JETSET Pilates is anticipated to open in Conroe within the 336 Marketplace at 381 S LOOP 336W, STE 19 by the end of November.
