A new Chinese restaurant is opening its doors in The Villages this fall. It’s called China Taste, and according to submitted plan review documents, it’s opening at 7625 Middleton Drive in Middleton. (Google Maps places the address in Sumterville.)

What Now confirmed news of the opening with representatives of the restaurant on Tuesday. The representative said China Taste is working toward an October or November opening.

The opening was announced previously on MyMiddleton.com, which describes China Taste as “A new spot for great food and friendly service.”

“The team at China Taste is excited to be bringing delicious Chinese food classics to our hometown,” the announcement says. “China Taste will serve classic dishes from General Tso’s chicken and sweet & sour favorites, to lo mein, fried rice, and more. Whether you’re grabbing takeout for a cozy dinner at home or sitting down for a meal with family, great food and generous hospitality will always be on the menu.”

Stay tuned for more details about China Taste as the opening approaches!
