Mister Burger is opening its newest location in Downtown Decatur. The smashburger concept will open September 11 with free burgers during its opening weekend. The location will be the brand’s second in the Atlanta area.
Mister Burger is Opening in Downtown Decatur
Mister Burger is an Atlanta burger concept that is opening its newest location at 201 W. Ponce de Leon Avenue in Decatur. The opening will bring another smashburger option to Downtown Decatur.
According to a report by The Infatuation, the Downtown Decatur restaurant will be the brand’s second location, following its first location in Buckhead. It will take over the former Casa Balam space, which closed earlier this summer.
Mister Burger will offer free single smashburgers during its opening weekend. On September 11, the restaurant will offer the free burger from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. On September 12, it will offer free burgers from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. On September 13, the free burgers will be available from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
In a social media post announcing the opening, the Mister Burger team wrote, “More than a new location—we’re excited to become part of a community that supports local, shows up for its neighbors, and makes Downtown Decatur special.”

What’s on the Menu
Mister Burger offers a small, burger-focused menu rather than a large fast-food-style menu. It primarily focuses on smashburgers, fries, and a few other sides. The burgers feature crispy-edged smashed beef patties served on sesame-seed brioche buns.
The menu at Mister Burger offers a variety of burger options, including Single Smash, Double Smash, Impossible Burger, and more. Customers can also order seasoned fries, loaded fries, nacho fries, and onion rings. The beverage menu includes milkshakes, including its Biscoff Shake.
Mister Burger’s new Decatur location will give the community another option for smashburgers and casual dining.
